Abstract

Das zeitnahe Vorliegen von Indikatoren zur Einschätzung der aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Lage, ist für eine vorausschauende, rasche und angemessene Reaktion der Wirtschaftspolitik unabdingbar.
Der IHS Economic High-Frequency Monitor ist ein schnell verfügbares, hochfrequentes Indikatorenset, um die ökonomische Aktivität der österreichischen Volkswirtschaft zeitnah analysieren und einschätzen zu können. Aktuell stehen dem IHS drei Zeitreihen zur Verfügung: die Schienengüterverkehrsleistung, der Stromverbrauch und die Arbeitslosenquote. Das IHS steht darüber hinaus im Austausch mit anderen Institutionen und Datenprovidern, um den Economic High Frequency Monitor zu erweitern.
